Administrative Manager at Nordmarken Parish
Do you want to work with order, structure, and integrity in a values-driven organization?
As an administrative manager at Nordmarken Parish, you will have a broad and meaningful role where you support the elected organization and are responsible for important parts of our administrative coordination and information management.
About the role
You will be a central part of a team of four that handles the parish's administration. You will serve as the secretary for the elected organization and contribute to ensuring that democratic work is conducted correctly, efficiently, and in good order. You will work closely with the parish priest, chairperson, other administrators, and provide support to both elected officials and employees.
Main responsibilities
Secretary for the elected organization
You are responsible for ensuring that meetings with committees, executive boards, church councils, and church assemblies run smoothly. This includes:
- preparing invitations, agendas, and decision materials
- attending meetings and taking minutes
- registering cases and ensuring that the decision-making process follows applicable rules
- supporting the chairperson and guiding in matters related to the Church Order and other relevant regulations. Training support is available.
Among the tasks is also keeping our registers updated.
Archive and case registration
You have overall responsibility for the parish's archive and case registration. As the archive manager, you ensure that the archive description is followed and that the archive is managed according to the diocese's instructions. As the person responsible for case registration, you guide and ensure that documents are kept accessible and in good order.
IT and telephone responsibility
The administrative group is also responsible for being the parish's contact person with the diocese in matters related to IT and telecommunications (KIT). You monitor information and updates from the diocese and ensure that relevant information reaches the right people in the organization. The parish has practical IT support through an external provider, so the role does not involve technical support but rather coordinating, informing, and ensuring that our routines work well. In this role, you will be offered the opportunity to participate in networking meetings.
Your background
We are looking for someone who has:
- an academic education in social sciences or education/experience deemed equivalent
- experience in administrative work within a public or politically governed organization, preferably as a committee or administrative secretary.
- good knowledge of how a case is handled in public operations
- very good ability to express yourself in writing
It is advantageous if you have experience in case registration, archive work, or register management, as well as familiarity with the Church of Sweden's organization.

You will be part of a smaller but dedicated administrative team of four, where we support each other and where tasks may sometimes shift between us. We have close contact with both employees, elected officials, and parishioners, making the work both varied and meaningful.
